Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and Acting Head of State of Cambodia, hosted a state banquet in honour of visiting General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam on the evening of February 6. Also attending the banquet were Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and high-ranking delegations of Vietnam and Cambodia. According to Vietnam News Agency, the banquet was part of an official visit aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries. The event underscored the commitment of both nations to deepen their political and economic ties. The presence of high-ranking officials from both Vietnam and Cambodia highlighted the significance of the occasion. The banquet provided a platform for discussions on various areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange between the two countries.
