Hanoi: Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung hosted a welcome ceremony for his Cambodian counterpart Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet in Hanoi. The Cambodian PM arrived in the city on the morning of June 8, marking the start of his official visit to Vietnam and his participation in the third ASEAN Future Forum (AFF) 2026. This visit takes place from June 8 to 9 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ASEAN Future Forum serves as a platform for regional leaders to discuss and plan for future collaborations and developments within Southeast Asia. The forum aims to address key issues and explore opportunities for economic growth, security, and cultural exchange among ASEAN member states. The presence of the Cambodian Prime Minister underscores the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as reinforcing cooperative efforts within the ASEAN framework.
