Thai PM Begins Official Visit to Vietnam for ASEAN Future Forum

Hanoi: Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his spouse arrived in Hanoi on June 8 morning, marking the start of their official visit to Vietnam. They are attending the third ASEAN Future Forum (AFF) 2026, which is scheduled to take place from June 8 to 9. This visit comes at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit underscores the strengthening ties between Thailand and Vietnam, as both nations seek to bolster cooperation in various sectors. The ASEAN Future Forum is expected to serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among ASEAN member states, focusing on future-oriented initiatives and regional integration.

The forum will bring together leaders and policymakers to discuss pressing regional issues and explore ways to enhance economic growth and regional stability. With this visit, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul aims to reinforce Thailand's commitment to regional partnerships and contribute to the shared vision of a prosperous ASEAN community.
