Hanoi: Leaders of the People’s Committee of Can Tho city held a working session with a delegation of the Canadian Charg© d’Affaires ad interim to Vietnam on September 4.

The delegation from Canada expressed interest in understanding the economic potential and key sectors within Can Tho city.
The meeting involved exchanges on trade policies, potential products for export, and strategies to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation. Both parties emphasized the importance of fostering mutual trade benefits and identifying new areas for collaboration. The leaders of Can Tho city highlighted the city’s strengths in agriculture and manufacturing, seeking to leverage these for increased market access in Canada.
