Da Nang:A ceremony was held by authorities in the central city of Da Nang on October 1 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Huynh Thuc Khang, a notable patriotic scholar and cultural figure. Huynh Thuc Khang was also known as a former Acting President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event was attended by National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man, who delivered a speech honoring Huynh Thuc Khang's contributions to the nation as an exemplary moral role model.
