Phnom penh: The 8th conference of courts from the border provinces of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos convened in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on August 14. This significant event saw the participation of delegations headed by Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam Nguyen Van Quang, President of the Supreme Court of Cambodia Chiv Keng, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Laos Phayvy Syboualypha. The conference concluded with the signing of a joint communiqu© by the three parties, signaling a commitment to enhance judicial cooperation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, on the sidelines of the conference, Nguyen Van Quang engaged in separate discussions with his counterparts from Laos and Cambodia, Phayvy Syboualypha and Chiv Keng, respectively. Additionally, during his visit to Cambodia, Quang had the opportunity to pay a courtesy call to Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and also visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia.
