Havana: The National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba (ANPP) always attaches great importance to promoting cooperation with Vietnam’s National Assembly, said ANPP Secretary Homero Acosta lvarez. Acosta lvarez made the statement at a handover ceremony of information and technical equipment presented by Vietnam’s legislature to support the installation of a virtual meeting room in Havana on July 21. The event was chaired by President of the ANPP Esteban Lazo Hernandez.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony highlighted the strengthening ties between the two nations, with Cuba expressing gratitude for Vietnam’s support in enhancing communication infrastructure. The virtual meeting room is expected to facilitate more efficient legislative interactions and discussions between the two countries. The initiative marks a significant step in the ongoing collaboration and mutual support between Cuba and Vietnam in various sectors.
