Hanoi: Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang held talks with his Singaporean counterpart Chan Chun Sing in Hanoi on July 22, discussing ways to strengthen defence cooperation. The same morning, Chan visited the headquarters of the Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between the two ministers focused on enhancing collaboration in various areas of defence. The meeting aimed to bolster the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Singapore, emphasizing the importance of regional security and stability. The visit to Viettel’s headquarters further highlighted the potential for cooperation in military technology and telecommunications.
