Hanoi: President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and President of the Council of State of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hern¡ndez has commenced his six-day official visit to Vietnam. The visit aims to co-chair the second session of the Vietnam-Cuba Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, which began on the morning of September 30. This visit is taking place at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit marks an important event in the diplomatic relations between Cuba and Vietnam, focusing on strengthening parliamentary cooperation. The session is expected to address key issues and enhance the collaboration between the legislative bodies of both countries.
