Czech Republic Donates 142,800 USD for Vietnam’s Flood Recovery

Hanoi: President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil on November 20 visited the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) to present a symbolic aid package of 3 million CZK (142,800 USD) to support recovery efforts following the 2025 storms and floods in Hoi An (Da Nang) and Hue.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the donation aims to assist in the recovery process for regions severely affected by the natural disasters. The funds will be allocated to help rebuild infrastructure and provide necessary resources to support the affected communities. The initiative underscores the Czech Republic’s commitment to aiding Vietnam in its disaster recovery efforts.
