Lao cai: The 25th Vietnam-China International Trade Fair commenced on November 20 in the northern province of Lao Cai, focusing on the theme ‘Lao Cai and Yunnan – Connectivity and Development.’ This event is a collaborative effort involving the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) branches in Yunnan province and Honghe county.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the fair is held alternately each year between Lao Cai in Vietnam and Yunnan in China. It is a significant component of Vietnam’s national trade promotion programme and serves as a crucial platform for fostering economic exchanges between the two regions.
