Hanoi: The Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has basically completed the Quang Trung Campaign launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to swiftly rebuild and repair homes for people affected by natural disasters, helping hundreds of families stabilize their lives.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Dak Lak provincial People's Committee reported that as of January 12, all 892 severely damaged houses in the province had been repaired. Additionally, 529 of the 606 homes that were collapsed, destroyed, or swept away by floods have been rebuilt.
Construction efforts are ongoing for the remaining 77 houses, with a completion target set for January 15. Notably, 16 of these houses, located in resettlement areas, are scheduled for handover on January 19. This initiative demonstrates the province's commitment to restoring stability and security for affected families in the aftermath of natural disasters.
