Ho Chi Minh City’s Rach Chiec Mega Project: 70,000-Seat Stadium with Roof and Air Conditioning

Hanoi: The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Sun Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for a key infrastructure project - the Rach Chiec National Sports Complex on January 15. With a total investment of more than 145 trillion VND (5.2 billion USD), the highlight of the project is a stadium with up to 70,000 seats, featuring a retractable roof and one of the most advanced air-conditioning systems currently available.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this monumental project is set to transform the landscape of Ho Chi Minh City, providing a state-of-the-art facility for sports and entertainment. The stadium's design includes modern amenities aimed at enhancing the experience of both athletes and spectators.
