Dak Lak Durian Festival Seeks to Elevate Vietnam’s Agricultural Brand Globally

Kuala lumpur: The 2026 Dak Lak Durian Festival opened in Buon Ma Thuot ward on August 15, aiming to promote the local durian brand, expand export markets, and enhance the global reputation of Vietnamese agricultural products. The event features 17 activities, including a specialised durian exhibition, an investment and trade promotion forum, a durian food festival, farm tours, art performances, a photo exhibition, and a running competition.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival is part of a broader strategy to position Vietnamese durian as a leading agricultural export. By showcasing the unique qualities and production capabilities of Dak Lak's durian, the event seeks to attract international buyers and investors. The diverse range of activities is designed to engage participants and highlight the cultural significance of durian in Vietnam.
