Hanoi: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang, during his working visit to Switzerland, engaged in a session with Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Jennifer DJ Nordquist. Thang affirmed Vietnam's support for an open, transparent, fair, inclusive, and rules-based multilateral trading system, emphasizing the pivotal role of the WTO.

According to Vietnam News Agency, later on the same day, Thang met with Andre Hoffmann, Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum (WEF). In addition to these meetings, Thang also paid a visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland.
