Dong Nai Holds Memorial, Burial Ceremony for Fallen Soldiers

Dong nai: Authorities in the southern province of Dong Nai held a memorial and burial ceremony on August 27 for 30 sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers who died during wartime. The remains, recently discovered in Loc Ninh and Phuoc Son communes, were laid to rest at the provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony was attended by local officials, veterans, and families of the fallen soldiers. The event served as a moment of reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made by these soldiers in the service of their country.

The remains were found during a recent excavation project aimed at uncovering the final resting places of soldiers who lost their lives in the conflicts that shaped Vietnam’s history.
