Former Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Awarded Friendship Order

Hanoi: On June 17, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia presented the Friendship Order, one of the Vietnamese State's highest honours, to Chea Kimtha, former Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam. This recognition highlights her significant contributions to strengthening the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Friendship Order is awarded to individuals who have made substantial efforts in fostering diplomatic relations and enhancing mutual understanding between Vietnam and other countries. Chea Kimtha's tenure as ambassador was marked by numerous initiatives aimed at bolstering bilateral ties, which have been pivotal in the ongoing partnership between Vietnam and Cambodia.
