Four Northern Vietnamese Localities, China’s Yunnan Province Foster Cooperation

Kunming: The sixth annual conference between the secretaries of the provincial Party Committees of four Vietnamese provinces-Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, and Dien Bien-and the Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Committee of Yunnan province was held in Kunming city, Yunnan on May 29. The meeting was co-chaired by Lai Chau province and Yunnan province, focusing on reviewing the implementation of agreements reached at the previous conference and signing the minutes of the sixth meeting.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference served as a platform for discussing and enhancing cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing the significance of maintaining strong ties. The representatives of the Vietnamese provinces and Yunnan province reviewed the progress made on agreements from the previous year and committed to advancing their collaborative efforts in various sectors.

The annual meeting underscores the dedication of both parties to fostering a robust partnership aimed at mutual benefits. As the regional dynamics evolve, the collaboration between these provinces is seen as a strategic move to bolster economic and social development in the region.
