Baku:Vietnamese technology group FPT has officially opened an office in Egypt, marking its entry into the African market. This move aims to foster connections between Vietnam's technology sector and Africa.

According to Vietnam News Agency, FPT Egypt began its operations in January 2026. The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) under Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with FPT to enhance cooperation.
