Hanoi: The 2026 friendship spring excursion programme organised by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organisations on March 21 brought more than 400 domestic and international delegates to the Huong Son area, a special national relic site and one of Vietnam's most renowned spiritual tourism destinations. Participants included 15 ambassadors and charg©s d'affaires together with their spouses, more than 200 diplomatic staff from embassies, representatives of international organisations and foreign non-governmental organisations in Vietnam, as well as leaders from ministries, agencies and the municipal administration.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event aimed to strengthen cultural ties and promote Vietnam's rich historical and spiritual heritage. The Huong Son area, known for its breathtaking landscapes and ancient temples, provided a unique backdrop for fostering friendship and cultural exchange among the diverse group of attendees. The excursion offered participants an opportunity to experience the cultural and historical significance of the site, which plays a vital role in Vietnam's spiritual tourism sector.

This programme not only highlighted the importance of preserving historical sites but also showcased Vietnam's commitment to international friendship and cooperation.
