Garment Industry Targets 47-48 Billion USD in Export Turnover Next Year.

Hanoi: Vietnam’s textile and garment industry aims to achieve 47-48 billion USD in export turnover in 2025, according to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS). This year, Vietnam’s textile and garment exports are expected to reach 44 billion USD, marking an 11.26% increase compared to 2023. The sector’s imports are projected at 25 billion USD, up 14.79%, resulting in a trade surplus of 19 billion USD, a year-on-year growth rate of 6.93%.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ambitious targets set by VITAS reflect the industry’s confidence in its growth trajectory, supported by favorable market conditions and strategic initiatives. The projected increases in both exports and imports underscore the sector’s robust performance and its significant contribution to the country’s economy. Efforts are being made to enhance production capacity, improve product quality, and expand market reach to meet these targets.
