Hanoi:General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam, who is also the Secretary of the Central Military Commission, chaired the third conference of the commission for the 2025-2030 tenure on September 30.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting in Hanoi focused on reviewing military and defense tasks for the third quarter while setting priorities for the upcoming quarter. The conference was attended by key figures including Politburo members and standing members of the commission: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man, and Standing Member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
The discussions aimed at ensuring that military tasks for 2026 are completed with the highest results, highlighting the strategic importance of this period for Vietnam's defense agenda.
