Hanoi: The Standing Boards of the National Assembly (NA)'s and Government's Party Committees held a meeting in Hanoi to finalize the preparations for the 16th NA's first extraordinary session. The meeting was co-chaired by Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, who serves as Secretary of the Government Party Committee, and NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the NA Party Committee.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the extraordinary session is scheduled to take place from August 3 to 24, divided into two phases. During this session, lawmakers are expected to deliberate on 31 items, which include 26 legislative matters, personnel decisions, and four other significant issues.
