Hanoi Aims to Boost Night-Time Tourist Spending by 30%

Hanoi: Hanoi is set to enhance its tourism industry by focusing on the development of night-time economy zones, corridors, and public spaces. This initiative is aimed at increasing the proportion of tourist spending during night-time hours to account for 25-30% of the total travel expenditure.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the city plans to centre these developments around heritage, culture, creativity, and visitor experiences. The strategy is expected to significantly contribute to the value of Hanoi's tourism sector, attracting both domestic and international visitors to explore and engage with the city's offerings after dark.

Local authorities believe that by capitalizing on the cultural and historical assets of the city, they can create a vibrant night-time economy that will enhance tourist spending and provide new opportunities for local businesses. This initiative is part of a broader effort to make Hanoi a more dynamic and appealing destination for tourists around the clock.
