Vietnam: Vietnam entered the second half of 2026 with one of Asia's most attractive macroeconomic outlooks, evolving from a supply-chain diversification play into one of the region's most powerful structural investment stories, Chief Economist at IQI Global Malaysia Shan Saeed told the Vietnam News Agency (VNA).
According to Vietnam News Agency, Shan Saeed highlighted Vietnam's strategic position in the global supply chain and its growing appeal as a long-term manufacturing hub in Asia. He emphasized that Vietnam's economic transformation is driven by its macroeconomic stability and favorable investment environment, which continue to draw significant interest from global investors. Saeed also noted that Vietnam's robust economic policies and integration into the world economy are key factors contributing to its increasing attractiveness for long-term manufacturing investments.
