Hanoi: General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, received Assistant Minister for Immigration and Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Commonwealth of Australia, Matt Thistlethwaite, in Hanoi on October 25.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Discussions were centered around enhancing collaboration in security, immigration, and trade between Vietnam and Australia. Both parties expressed their commitment to work together on issues such as regional security and economic development.
