Hanoi Officially Launches Smart Traffic Control Centre

Hanoi: The Hanoi Department of Public Security officially launched the city’s smart traffic control centre, which is now operational to manage administrative violations related to traffic order and road safety. The centre is equipped with 1,837 AI-powered cameras installed at 195 key intersections, serving as the central system for real-time monitoring of traffic conditions and urban order.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the smart traffic control centre is an innovative step towards enhancing the management of traffic in Hanoi. The AI-powered cameras provide continuous surveillance and data collection, facilitating the electronic handling of traffic-related violations. This development is expected to improve road safety and efficiency in the city’s traffic management.
