Ho Chi Minh City: The UK Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on science, technology, and innovation cooperation during the opening session of UK-Southeast Asia Tech Week 2025 on March 27. The event, lasting to March 28, is the UK’s flagship annual event dedicated to accelerating digital innovation and strengthening partnerships between the UK and Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this MoU marks a significant step in enhancing collaboration between the UK and Ho Chi Minh City in the fields of digital transformation and innovation. The partnership aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and resources, facilitating advancements in technology and innovation that benefit both regions. The ongoing Tech Week serves as a platform for stakeholders from the UK and Southeast Asia to engage in discussions and share insights on digital transformation strategies.
