Helicopters Ready for National Day Celebration

Hoa lac: In preparation for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the Air Defence-Air Force coordinated helicopter units to stage formation training flights at Hoa Lac Airport. With Mi-171 helicopters carrying the Party flag and national flag, the rehearsal served as both a technical trial and symbolic display, highlighting the solemnity and grandeur of upcoming celebrations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the formation training involved precise coordination among the helicopter units to ensure a successful display during the National Day celebrations. The Mi-171 helicopters, known for their reliability, were chosen specifically for their capability to carry both the Party flag and national flag across the skies, symbolizing unity and patriotism.

The exercises held at Hoa Lac Airport were crucial for preparing both equipment and personnel for the event. The Air Defence-Air Force’s efforts reflect the significance of the 80th anniversary, marking a pivotal moment in the nation’s history.
