Ho chi minh city: Visa facilitation was highlighted as a crucial factor in expanding tourism cooperation between Vietnam and two major markets – the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Taiwan (China) – during a seminar held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 23. The event was jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, Travel Association, and Golf Tourism Association, and partners, aiming to strengthen two-way tourism exchanges and support Vietnamese businesses in tapping these important markets.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the seminar served as a platform to discuss strategies for enhancing tourism ties with the Republic of Korea and Taiwan. Participants emphasized the importance of simplifying visa procedures to attract more tourists from these regions, which are considered significant markets for Vietnam’s tourism industry.
The seminar also explored collaborative opportunities and initiatives that could bolster tourism growth and mutual benefits. By focusing on visa facilitation, the meeting aimed to address existing challenges and pave the way for increased tourist exchanges, ultimately benefiting the hospitality and service sectors in Vietnam.
