Ho Chi Minh City Seeks to Deepen Practical Cooperation with French Partners

Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh City is keen to expand cooperation with French partners in areas where both sides share strengths and common interests, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Bui Minh Thanh said at a ceremony organised by the French Consulate General in the city on July 14 to celebrate France's National Day.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vice Chairman expressed the city's strong desire to enhance collaboration with France, focusing on sectors that promise mutual benefits. The event underscored the importance of fostering closer ties between Ho Chi Minh City and French entities, aiming to leverage the unique capabilities and resources of both parties to achieve shared goals.

The ceremony, held in commemoration of France's National Day, served as a platform for key discussions on potential areas of cooperation. Vice Chairman Bui Minh Thanh highlighted the significance of partnerships in fields such as technology, education, and culture, where both cities can offer substantial contributions.
