Quang tri: A new railway tourism service connecting the former imperial city of Hue with Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is set to commence operations on September 1. The service is part of a collaborative effort between Quang Tri province, Hue city, and Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), as outlined in a cooperation agreement.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the agreement was revealed during a seminar in Quang Tri on July 31, where the parties involved signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This MoU focuses on the joint development of a railway tourism product titled "Hue Ancient Capital - Phong Nha: Journey to Wonders and World Heritage." The initiative is designed to position the route as a key tourism offering in the central region, thereby expanding the range of tourism products available in the country and enhancing the North-South railway line's efficiency.
