Hanoi: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, initiated a nationwide competition on July 31 to design the official logo and visual identity for APEC Vietnam 2027. This competition is open to Vietnamese organizations and individuals, as well as foreign nationals who are legally residing and working in Vietnam. Participants can submit an unlimited number of entries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the competition offers a first prize worth 50 million VND, approximately 2,000 USD, and two consolation prizes worth 5 million VND each. All prizes come with certificates. The design that wins the first prize will serve as the foundation for the official visual identity of APEC Vietnam 2027.
