Images Celebrating Ho Chi Minh City’s 50th Anniversary Illuminate Seoul

Seoul: Images celebrating the 50th anniversary of Saigon-Gia Dinh officially being renamed Ho Chi Minh City are being displayed on giant electronic screens in central Seoul, capital of the Republic of Korea (RoK), on July 1-2. This display highlights the Vietnamese city's international outreach and its growing ties with its Korean sister city. The images are showcased daily from 7 am to 10 pm. According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative is a collaborative effort between Ho Chi Minh City and its international sister cities, including Seoul. It aims to promote Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic, modern, globally integrated city with a rich cultural identity to both Korean people and international visitors. This effort signifies the strengthening of cultural and diplomatic relations between the two cities, underscoring Ho Chi Minh City's commitment to international collaboration and cultural exchange.
