Indian Rock Band Parikrama Starts Dak Lak Tour

Dak lak: A rock show by India’s legendary band Parikrama thrilled the audience in the central province of Dak Lak on November 12, fostering cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and friendship between the Vietnamese and Indian people. Formed in 1991, Parikrama ranks among India’s longest-running and most respected rock bands, with more than 3,500 global shows at venues like the Kennedy Centre in the US, Download Festival and Brixton Academy. Its Vietnam tour, spanning November 7-13, included stops in Hanoi, Hai Phong and Dak Lak, marking another milestone in the enduring cultural partnership between the two nations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Dak Lak performance is part of Parikrama’s Vietnam tour, which aims to enhance bilateral cultural relations. The band’s presence in Vietnam is seen as a significant step in promoting mutual understanding and strengthening friendships between the two countries.

The tour’s schedule has allowed fans from various regions, including Hanoi and Hai Phong, to experience the unique sound and energy of Parikrama. These concerts are not just musical events; they serve as a bridge connecting the rich traditions and modern expressions of both nations.
