Institutional, Legal Reform Key Strategic Breakthrough for Development: NA Chairman

Hanoi: National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man has requested placing institutional reform at the centre of national development, stressing that refinement of institutions and laws is a strategic breakthrough for the country's advancement while chairing the fourth meeting of the NA Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term in Hanoi on March 16.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting, attended by senior officials and lawmakers, focused on strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of the legal framework to support national growth. Chairman Man emphasized the importance of this approach in ensuring sustainable development and addressing future challenges faced by the country.

The discussions highlighted the need for comprehensive reforms in legal and institutional frameworks, which are deemed essential for improving governance and promoting economic progress. The NA Party Committee aims to prioritize these reforms in their agenda, ensuring alignment with the nation's long-term strategic goals.
