Int’l Friends Pay Final Respects to Former President Tran Duc Luong

Hanoi: Vietnamese embassies in many countries have organised respect-paying ceremonies in commemoration of former President Tran Duc Luong, who passed away on May 20 at the age of 88.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremonies were attended by numerous international friends and dignitaries who gathered to honor the legacy of the late president. The events highlighted the impact of Tran Duc Luong’s leadership and his contributions to Vietnam’s development and international relations.

The respect-paying ceremonies served as a testament to the high regard in which Tran Duc Luong was held globally. These events were marked by moments of silence, the laying of wreaths, and the signing of condolence books, allowing attendees to express their sympathies and share memories of the former president.
