Hanoi: Nearly 200 scientists from Taiwan (China), Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, and beyond have gathered for the 5th International Symposium on Marine and Fisheries Science and Technology. The event is being co-hosted by Nha Trang University and National Taiwan Ocean University in the south-central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on March 27-28.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the symposium aims to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge among international experts in the field of marine and fisheries science. The participants will engage in discussions and presentations on the latest research findings, technological advancements, and sustainable practices in the sector.

The event provides a platform for scientists to share their expertise and explore solutions to global challenges facing marine ecosystems and fisheries. The organizers aim to strengthen partnerships and encourage collaborative research efforts to address these pressing issues.
