Hanoi: Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae visited and delivered a policy speech at the Hanoi National University in Hanoi on May 2. The Japanese leader is on a three-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of her Vietnamese counterpart Le Minh Hung.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit marks an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between Japan and Vietnam.
