Top Leader Meets with Japanese PM

Hanoi: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam met with Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae in Hanoi on May 2. The Japanese PM is on an official visit to Vietnam from May 1-3.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting signifies a strengthening of bilateral relations between Vietnam and Japan. Discussions during the meeting were focused on enhancing cooperation in various sectors including trade, investment, and cultural exchange. Both leaders expressed their commitment to foster a strategic partnership and address regional and global challenges collaboratively.

The visit of Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae is part of a series of diplomatic engagements aimed at deepening ties between the two nations. The leaders also emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, an area of mutual interest for both countries.
