Hanoi: Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Mazen Turki El Qadi visited the Vietnam Military History Museum on February 4 as part of his official visit to Vietnam. During his visit, the speaker was introduced to six distinct exhibition themes that chronicle Vietnam's significant historical periods and struggles for national independence.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the museum's exhibitions cover key phases in Vietnam's history, starting from the period between 939 and 1858, which reflects the nation's early efforts to secure its sovereignty. It then progresses to the period of resistance against French colonialism from 1858 to 1945. The museum also highlights the resistance war against the French from 1945 to 1954, followed by the resistance war against the United States from 1954 to 1975. Finally, the exhibitions present Vietnam's journey of national construction and defense from 1975 to the present day, projected until 2024.
