Hanoi: A high-level delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member and Standing Member of the CPV Central Committee's Secretariat, visited a meet-the-people session (MPS) branch of the People's Action Party (PAP) of Singapore on the evening of August 24. The activity formed part of Tu's official visit to the city-state, during which he is set to co-chair the first Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by Tran Cam Tu and the CPV delegation underscores the strengthening political ties between Vietnam and Singapore. The meet-the-people session provided an opportunity for the CPV to gain insights into PAP's grassroots engagement approach, further fostering collaboration between the two parties. This visit is part of broader efforts to enhance bilateral relations and strategic dialogue on regional and international issues.
