Khanh hoa: Bookings for flights to the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on China's Ctrip platform in 2025 rose by 28% year-on-year, heard at a working session on ways to increase the number of Chinese arrivals held by the provincial tourism sector on January 22. The session was co-organised by the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre and Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, which operates the airport receiving about 96% of international arrivals to the province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strategies to further boost the influx of Chinese tourists, which is a key market for Khanh Hoa's tourism sector. The participants discussed various measures, including enhancing flight connectivity, improving tourism services, and launching targeted promotional campaigns to attract more visitors from China.

The Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, responsible for managing the primary gateway for international tourists into Khanh Hoa, plays a crucial role in facilitating this growth. With the majority of international arrivals coming through Cam Ranh Airport, the company is looking at expanding its facilities and services to accommodate the expected increase in Chinese tourists.

The provincial authorities are optimistic about the potential economic benefits of increasing Chinese tourist numbers, given the significant rise in bookings. They are committed to collaborating with airlines and travel agencies to ensure Khanh Hoa becomes a preferred destination for Chinese travelers.
