Vietnam-Germany Collaborate on Digital Classroom Initiative in Ho Chi Minh City

Hanoi: Twelve vocational education institutions in the city have received digital education equipment valued at over 800 million VND (approximately 30,400 USD) to implement the 'Digital Classroom' model. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice while aligning educational training with the digital transformation needs in governance, teaching, and learning.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the handover ceremony was jointly organized by the Vietnamese-German University and the German World University Service (WUS). Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, President of WUS, emphasized that Vietnam is a leading nation in Southeast Asia in establishing a legal framework for artificial intelligence, with a specific law anticipated to be enacted by March 2026. He further highlighted the rapid digital transformation in Vietnam's vocational education sector, noting that the Digital Transformation Expert training program is a significant component of these positive developments.
