Hue: The Kim Long Motor Hue JSC (Kim Long Motor) has successfully exported its first batch of electric buses to Thailand, marking a significant milestone in the Vietnamese automaker's international expansion efforts. This inaugural shipment of finished buses to an international market represents a new phase in Kim Long Motor's export and logistics operations. The export ceremony took place at Chan May Port in Chan May-Lang Co commune, central Hue city.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the initial shipment consists of nine buses, part of a larger order totaling 113 vehicles, which are scheduled to be delivered to Thailand by 2026 for passenger transport. This marks the first time Kim Long Motor has transported finished buses to an international market using a dedicated roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessel. The event highlights a new development in the company's logistics capacity and enhances port connectivity in the central region.
Furthermore, on September 15, Kim Long Motor introduced its passenger bus models in Thailand, receiving 50 orders on the launch day. This reception underscores the market's interest in the company's electric buses and sets a positive precedent for future international sales.
