A young man from Korat was shocked when a banana tree he planted grew a bunch of bananas at the top. He thought it was strange but did not think it was supernatural. The agricultural department of Khong Buri district helped to find the answer.
In the durian orchard behind Mr. Thima’s house in Chae Subdistrict, Khong Buri District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, a banana tree that was planted to be a nanny for the durians was found to be different from other banana trees because that banana tree had a flower growing at the tip and had produced a full bunch, even though the tree was only about 1 meter tall. This bunch of bananas had already produced 5 bunches. The owner of the banana took a clip and posted it on social media because he saw that it was strange.
From asking Mr. Thima, the owner of the banana tree, he said that he experimented with growing about 20 durian trees. While waiting for the durian to grow, he planted bananas as nanny trees for about a year. At first, this banana tree grew very tall and b
ig until it became unnecessary. So he decided to cut it down, leaving only the base. After a few weeks, a new tree sprouted from the banana stump. Then, a new branch sprouted from the top instead of having new leaves like normal banana trees. It is also healthy and gives combs and fruits like normal bananas. The difference is that it does not grow below the leaf sheath like other trees. He personally thought it was strange and had never seen it before. So he recorded a clip and posted it on social media because he thought that someone might be able to answer the abnormality of this banana tree. He did not think it was anything supernatural.
