Lao PM Pays Respect to President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnamese Martyrs in Hanoi

Hanoi: Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and the Lao high-ranking delegation laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and the monument to war heroes and martyrs in Hanoi on June 7 afternoon. This act was part of the Lao PM's official visit to Vietnam and his attendance at the third ASEAN Future Forum (AFF) 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the official visit underscores the strong ties between Laos and Vietnam. The visit to the mausoleum and the monument signifies the respect and recognition the Lao government has for the historical contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese martyrs.
