Quang Tri: The central province of Quang Tri has been awarded the first-class Labour Order by the President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. This prestigious accolade recognizes Quang Tri’s significant contributions to strengthening ties with Laos and aiding the development of Champasak province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the award also celebrates Quang Tri’s achievements during the commemorations of 45 years since the Laos-Vietnam Friendship and Cooperation Treaty was signed and the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. These milestones underscore the enduring partnership and mutual cooperation between Laos and Vietnam, with Quang Tri playing a pivotal role in fostering this relationship.
