Hanoi: Minister of National Defence, General Phan Van Giang, on February 8 led a working delegation of the ministry to extend Tet greetings and present Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor households, and factory workers in Thai Nguyen province on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aimed to honor and support those in need during the festive season. The delegation distributed gifts as part of their initiative to ensure that policy beneficiaries, underprivileged families, and factory workers in Thai Nguyen can enjoy the traditional celebrations of the Lunar New Year.

General Phan Van Giang's visit highlights the ministry's commitment to community welfare as they reached out to various sections of society.
