Hanoi: Minister of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang held talks with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha in Hanoi on August 17 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces’ Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 – 2025).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of public security. The discussions highlighted mutual interests and underscored the importance of collaboration in maintaining regional stability.
Both ministers expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in combating transnational crimes and ensuring security along their shared border. They also emphasized the significance of exchanging information and experiences to effectively address security challenges.
